Our engineers are fully qualified across gas and air source heat pumps, certified with Ideal, Daikin, Mitsubishi and Vaillant, and rated among the best in the country for renewables. Meet The Team
LEWIS MUSSON
As an original founder of HEY! Heating & Plumbing, Lewis has played a key role in building the business from the ground up and developing a strong customer base across Hull and East Yorkshire. Over the years, he has earned the trust of landlords, housing associations and domestic customers by combining reliable workmanship with a straightforward, customer-focused approach.
Lewis brings over 15 years’ experience as a fully qualified engineer and is known for his hardworking attitude, discipline and commitment to doing things properly. Family-focused and positive in everything he does, he brings a calm, practical mindset to the HEY! team and takes pride in delivering work that customers can depend on.
Sport has also played a big part in Lewis’s life. Growing up, he was heavily involved in rugby and football, playing at a competitive level and developing the teamwork, focus and determination that continue to shape the way he works today. He understands the value of turning up, putting the graft in and taking pride in the job.
Staying active remains important to Lewis, and outside of work you will often find him in the gym, keeping fit and focused. More than anything, though, family comes first. Lewis is proud to be a husband and father to two children, and he is driven by the desire to be a strong role model and make the most of every moment with them.
A loyal Hull Kingston Rovers supporter, Lewis brings the same passion, pride and commitment from sport into his work. For him, doing a good job is about reliability, effort and taking pride in the people and communities HEY! serves.
Lewis Mower
Lewis brings over 20 years of plumbing and heating experience to the HEY! team, including more than 15 years as a fully qualified engineer.
His route into the trade started early, working weekends alongside his uncle while he was still at school. That hands-on introduction sparked a passion for plumbing and heating that has stayed with him ever since and helped shape the career he has built today.
Lewis also has extensive experience in renewable heating, having fitted over 100 air source and ground source heat pumps. This gives him a strong practical understanding of modern, low-carbon heating systems and the detail needed to install them properly.
For Lewis, the detail matters. He takes real pride in every installation, making sure the work not only performs as it should, but looks the part too. Whether it is neat pipework, a carefully planned heating system or a tidy finish, Lewis believes a good job should be something both the customer and the engineer can be proud of.
Sport was also a big part of Lewis’s younger years, with rugby, football and baseball helping develop the teamwork, commitment and determination he brings into his work today.
Outside of work, Lewis is a self-confessed nerd with a love of Lego, Pokémon, Marvel and movies. He is inspired by creativity, storytelling and craftsmanship — from the curiosity and longevity of David Attenborough to the vision and attention to detail of Quentin Tarantino.
For Lewis, success is about building something properly, whether that is a business, a reputation or a loving family. His proudest achievement is being told by his parents that he is a fantastic dad — a compliment that means more to him than any professional milestone.
